Group Used Equipment Manager

Smallridge Bros Ltd have a requirement for a full time Group Used Equipment Manager. This would be an excellent opportunity for the right candidate looking for a long-term career working for a rewarding company.
Essential Duties:
- Develops and executes a sales and marketing plan to trade or retail used equipment at the desired margins and turnover.
- Maintains the dealership used equipment policies and guidelines on pricing, evaluation, purchasing and inventory management.
- Sets the value for used equipment.
- Identifies and utilizes all channels available to successfully market used equipment such as retail and wholesale markets, internet platforms, exchange with other dealers, auctions, Deere marketing programs, etc.
- Develops timely used equipment advertising programs/campaigns and maintains professional used equipment displays at point of sale.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge regarding all sales and finance programs for used equipment, features and value of competitive used equipment, as well as competitive activity in the used equipment business.
- Communicates regularly with the Service Department to ensure any reconditioning is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Assists in promotional activities such as trade shows, customer clinics and field demonstrations etc
- Follows up with assigned customers to resolve issues related to used equipment purchased, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of equipment sales experience.
- Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
- A passion for Agricultural Machinery.
- Ideally, established relationships with key contacts in the used equipment sector.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
- Ability to analyse and interpret internal reports.
