Sales Administrator

Smallridge Bros Limited are excited to be recruiting a Sales Administrator, on a 12-month fixed contract to cover maternity leave. The role would suit a full-time or part-time worker. For the right candidate there may be the possibility of future opportunities with the business at the end of the 12-month period.

The role will be based at our head office at Collabear in North Devon, just south of Barnstaple, with some flexibility for remote working.

The role start date is the end of September, however there is flexibility on this.

Job Function:

Responsible for administrating sales process to maximize administrative efficiency in the department. Prepares and processes finance documents for customers. Assists the sales team in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Essential Duties:

  • Receives and directs internal and external inquiries for the sales department
  • Manage and monitor quotes that turn into sales and process finance paperwork
  • Assisting with inventory management duties
  • Verifies the completeness and accuracy of sales information
  • Maintains sales department filing, records and department information
  • Assists in ensuring the dealership is utilizing all available programs and discounts
  • Coordinates enrolment and follow-up of training attendance as directed

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
  • Willing to learn new skills & software
  • Effective written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and analyse reports
  • Organisational skills with attention to detail
