John Deere has launched its expanded 6M Series, now offering 17 models ranging from the compact 6M 95 to the heavy-duty 6M 250. With 10 models delivering over 150 hp and various frame sizes, this lineup covers a wide range of farm operations.

Notable newcomers include the 6M 150 — a powerful 4-cylinder machine — and an upgraded 6M 145, now featuring six cylinders. At the top end, the new 6M 230 and 6M 250 bring extra muscle with longer wheelbases and a peak power output of up to 281 hp thanks to Intelligent Power Management (IPM), which boosts horsepower in transport and PTO tasks.

The series includes a variety of transmissions — from the mechanical PowrQuad™ to the seamless AutoPowr™ — with all models offering an optional 50 km/h top speed. Larger hydraulic pumps (up to 195 l/min) and new tyre options help increase efficiency and reduce soil compaction.

A revamped, user-friendly cab features a larger corner post display and configurable controls. Farmers can choose between a standard console or the compact CommandARM™. Improved visibility, cab comfort, and advanced suspension systems make long days in the field more manageable.

The 6M tractors also support precision agriculture technologies. Options include the G5 and G5Plus displays, AutoTrac™, ISOBUS integration, and JDLink™ with free remote support and software updates. Data Sync allows real-time sharing of field data between machines, boosting efficiency and decision-making.

Our customers recently joined us for two exciting 6M Ride & Drive events, held at Holsworthy Market on the 26/03/25 and at our Truro depot on the 01/04/25. Both events showcased the all-new John Deere 6M tractor range, giving attendees a hands-on experience with some of the most advanced agricultural machinery on the market today.

Visitors had the chance to climb into the driver’s seat and test drive the latest 6M models with trailers on the back of them, putting their performance to the test. Whether it was the smooth handling, the powerful engines, or the unmatched operator comfort, customers were able to see for themselves why the new 6M range continues to set the standard in modern farming.

From long-time John Deere users to curious first-timers, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Many were impressed by the versatility of the 6M series, designed to meet the demands of everything from livestock farms to arable operations. The latest technology and intuitive controls also stood out, offering drivers improved efficiency and ease of use in the field.

In addition to the test drives, attendees were able to chat with our expert sales team, ask questions, and learn more about the features and benefits of the entire John Deere lineup. Complimentary refreshments and a friendly, welcoming environment helped make the events enjoyable for all.

The grand opening of Smallridge’s brand-new Truro depot on the 03/12/24, was nothing short of a triumph, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of over 700 valued customers from across Cornwall and beyond. The celebration marked a major milestone for the company, reinforcing its commitment to delivering top-tier service and building lasting relationships with its community.

With the sun shining and excitement in the air, the event welcomed a mix of past, present, and future customers—all coming together to show their support and curiosity about what’s next for #TeamSmallridge. From guided tours of the new facilities and meet-and-greets with the team, it was a day filled with energy, pride, and connection.

And what’s a celebration without some proper Cornish hospitality? Guests enjoyed a complimentary hog roast that went down an absolute treat, while the Korev bar kept the atmosphere flowing with pints of local lager. It was the perfect combination to toast the exciting future ahead.
